During Superbowl weekend, the Gatorade Sports Science Institute (GSSI) tested NFL athletes alongside celebrities to see how their bodies react under physical stress.

Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz, model Molly Sims, and actress Amanda Bynes joined NFL’er Aaron Rodgers, LaDainian Tomlinson, Tim Tebow, Matt Forte at the Gatorade Center in Ft. Lauderdale.

Kellan participated in a physical workout/testing protocol conducted by GSSI scientists who shared their insight with him on how to get the most out of his body during physical activity.

We have a few ideas of our own on how Mister Kellan Lutz can get the most of his body! (….and it’s totally NSFW!)

Kellan is in Miami and has been very busy. I’m doing my best to keep up with all the photos but it’ll be a minute before the Gallery gets up-to-date, so I’m sorry but I AM working on it.

Kellan Lutz takes a flight out of Miami International Airport on Friday (February 5) in Miami, Florida.

The 24-year-old Twilight hunk and Calvin Klein model grabbed a cup of coffee to recharge before his trip home.

Earlier in the day, Kellan took part in the launch of New Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport at the W South Beach, where he played a tennis match!

Ready for Super Bowl weekend

Gearing up for what’s sure to be a fun-filled weekend, Kellan Lutz was spotted passing through LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Thursday night (February 4).

The Emmett Cullen hunk looked to be in quite the cheerful mood, hamming it up for paparazzi as he passed through the popular terminal.

Mr Lutz is readying to take part in the festivities that coincide with the Super Bowl in Miami on Sunday.

He’s slated to join Playboy beauty Kendra Wilkinson at Maxim’s annual bash at the Raleigh Hotel on Saturday night.

Former Calvin Klein model Antonio Sabato Jr. swaps stories with Calvin Klein newbie, ‘Twilight’’s Kellan Lutz!

The two underwear models explain their first Calvin Klein experiences.

“I flew to New York to meet Calvin and I didn’t know exactly what I was gonna do,” Antonio describes. “I went in his office and we sat down and he mentioned that maybe there’s a possibility of doing a campaign but I had to try the underwear first. So he said, ‘Do you mind trying them on for me?’”

Antonio asks Kellan, “Did you have to do anything like that?”

“You know what, I did have to,” the ‘Twilight’ on-screen vamp replies. “They sent me some underwear and I had to try them on … It was quite interesting sending pictures there.”

And when it comes to the famous Calvin Klein billboards, Kellan says that has always been a goal of his: “I always wanted to be on a billboard and it’s funny, I remember Kate Moss when she was big [and posed for] Calvin Klein and she looked amazing. The ads are sexy, they’re classy, provocative. And it’s going to be really cool to have my mug up there.”

Antonio had to ask Kellan about ‘Twilight’: “Any ‘Twilight’ secrets? Because my kids love your movies. I love it, too.”

“It’s an awesome movie,” Kellan answered about the third ‘Twilight’ film, ‘Eclipse,’ set to hit theaters on June 30. “I mean, it’s a guy movie. It’s guy friendly. It’s an action-packed movie. … I think they’re really going to love the trailer when it comes out and really get a kick out of this new kind of dark, edgy, action film.”

How are Kellan’s ‘Eclipse’ co-stars taking his new gig? Kellan says that his co-star Peter Facinelli is most likely to razz him. “I hung out with him last night and he was busting my chops how he has to get a picture of me,” Kellan says.

Kellan suits up for DirecTVs Celeb Beach Bowl

DirecTV’s fourth annual Celebrity Beach Bowl is starting to live up to its name. Jennifer Lopez has just joined the roster for the flag football game, which takes place Saturday, Feb. 6 in Miami (kickoff at 2:30 p.m. ET on DirecTV’s 101 Network). Other celebs scheduled to suit up now include: Twilight’s Taylor Lautner and Kellan Lutz; Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, and Jessica Szohr; Attack of the Show’s Olivia Munn; Marlon, Shawn and Keenan Wayans; Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller; Breaking Bad and Big Love’s Aaron Paul; Dexter’s C.S. Lee and David Zayas; Nurse Jackie’s Dominic Fumusa; Clean House’s Niecy Nash; singer/songwriter Brian McKnight; and The Green Mile’s Michael Clark Duncan.

The New York Giants’ Eli Manning and the New York Jets’ Mark Sanchez will each coach a team, while Hall of Famer Warren Moon and former NFL MVP Rich Gannon serve as quarterbacks/captains. NFL greats Merrill Hoge, Daryl Johnston, Desmond Jones, La’Roi Glover, Eddie George and Mark Schlereth will also take the field. Dan Patrick hosts a pre-game show at 1:30 p.m. ET that features an interview with Herschel Walker, who recently made his victorious debut in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). He’ll also call the play-by-play along with Nancy O’Dell and sideline correspondent Andrew Siciliano. The All American Rejects handle post-show duties with a concert immediately following the trophy presentation.
